TechFaith Chooses Red Bend’s Mobile Software Management for China Unicom’s Customized Smartphones

TechFaith, which develops, manufacturers and markets branded mobile phones for differentiated market segments in China, has shipped five Red Bend-Enabled Qualcomm-based smartphones -- the aigo a700, QIGI WG1, WG TWIN, WG-Ginny and WG-Scepter. All are 3G WCDMA customized dual-mode/SIM handsets developed for China Unicom, one of the country’s three largest mobile network operators.
